Bolivian Rainbow Chile Pepper Seeds

Bolivian Rainbow plants grow 2-3 feet tall. Grown for centuries in Bolivia, this searingly hot and flavorful Chile turns from light shades of purple to brilliant dark purples to yellows to oranges and bright red when ripe. They have medium heat and make any salsa brighten up with all the colors. Ever-bearing, so all colors are present and set against purple-green foliage and small flowers. Unique and eatable, multi colored landscape plant, bears early and throughout the season.

Space plants 12-18 inches apart, in rows 3 feet apart, or in a 3 gallon pot for an indoor house plant. Also makes a great back drop for other annuals or use a border or divider in grader areas. Very pungent! Eatable; Ornamental - C.annuum

Once we receive your order and payment it is processed, usually the same day. You will receive an email confirmation with tracking number when we get your payment and have processed the order. We make trips to the post office 2-3 times per week, sometimes every day. Most US addresses get their package within one week or less, depending on where you live. Overseas shipments can take 2-3 weeks or longer to arrive.

Recipe: Rainbow Salsa

• 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 1 sweet onion, diced
• 1/2 cup or more corse chopped Rainbow Peppers
• 1/4 cup yellow corn whole
• 5 cups fresh seeded diced tomatoes
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro or basil
• 1 lime juice
• 1/3 cup fresh or bottled lemon juice
• 1/2 teaspoon cumin
• salt to taste

Directions:

Heat oil in a large pan add onions, corn and peppers cook untill soft, add garlic cook 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 15-20 minutes to reduce liquid.

Taste and adjust seasoning then place in hot washed jars. Process for 15 minutes in a hot water bath to seal. Or refrigerate to be consumed within one week.
