The Black Prince produce hot piquing type fruit measuring 1 to 1.25 inches long by 0.25 to 0.5 inches wide. The thin flesh, matures from green to dark purple (black) to bright red, erect pods. Purple flowers and purple leaves, grows 18-24 inches tall by 12-16 inches wide.
Plant 12 inches apart or in 2-3 gallon pots for indoors house plant. Mid to late season fruiting. Eatable ornamental; C.annuum.
