The Moruga Scorpion was declared world's hottest pepper by New Mexico State University In Feb. 2012 with a SHU range between 580,198 and 2,009,231. Habanero type flavor. Pods measure 2 to 2.5 inches long by 1.5 to 2 inches wide; medium thick flesh; matures from green to orange to red; pendant pods. Grows 34 to 48 inches tall; Very late season fruiting; C .chinense.
Space plants 18-20 apart in rows 4 to 5 feet apart. Mid season fruiting but very late season fruit ripening so start early indoors for best crop. Heavy mulching around plants and in-between rows after planting helps conserve water and helps prevent fruit damage when heavy fruit laden branches falling over in wind storms or heavy rain. The fruit will rest on top of the mulch rather than on or into the soil.

Ingredients:
Combine all the ingredients except mayonnaise and salt in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Add to the mayonnaise in a bowl along with the salt and mix well. Let stand in refrigerator for 3 hours allowing flavor to mature and mix.
This is an all-purpose spread. If thinned with milk, it makes a great salad dressing. It is delicious as a dip for raw vegetables sticks or spread on bread in place of plain mayonnaise
