This variety is said to be originally from the Chaguanas area of Trinidad and is somewhat rare.
In Caribbean regions it is known as the 7 POD or 7 POT. Just one pod is said to provide enough heat to spice up 7 pots of stew.
The fruit is habanero shaped but has the characteristic pimply or bumpy surface texture as found on another super hot variety.
Space plants 18-20 apart in rows 3-4 foot apart. Late season fruiting so start early indoors for best crop. C.chinense.

Toss all ingredients into blender and puree.
Marinade your choice of fish, pork, or chicken 2-4 hours. Cook as desired. I like open flame grilling the best.
NOTE: This marinade is very hot and spicy, and will certainly give your fish or chicken a kick.
