Tabasco Pepper Seeds Often used for hot sauce, but are also good in salsa or dried and used in stir-fry dishes. Erect pods about 1.5 inches long, .3 inch wide and very hot (40-50,000 Scoville Units). Grows 30-48 inches tall. Matures from light green/yellow to orange to bright red. Very prolific. Plant spaced 18-20 inches apart, in rows 3 feet apart, or in a 3 gallon pot for an indoor house plant. Mid to late season fruiting, C. frutescens.
